- Regardless of level all ski and board equipment will be this seasons kit and therefore be in very good condition. Brands will typically be Rossignol, Head, Salomon or Volkl. Unless specified otherwise ski packages include skis, boots and poles and board packages include boots and board. If you are taking hire then we highly recommend that you take the equipment waiver - this is an insurance you should ask to take directly from the shops in resort. Hire shops can sometimes charge extortionate amounts for damaged skis so the insurance is certainly worth it and a minimal amount per day. Ski Lessons: LEVEL 0 – You are basically a complete beginner and you won’t have had any lessons or skied on snow before. You might have dabbled on an artificial slope. LEVEL 1 – You have 1-3 weeks experience of skiing on snow and you can go down green and blue runs reasonably happily. You will be trying the transition from snowplow to parallel turns LEVEL 2 – You probably have between 2 and 6 weeks of experience on snow and you’re now comfortable with long sweeping parallel turns on blue runs. You will also be comfortable on red runs. LEVEL 3 – You are now a technically proficient skier with between 7 and 10 weeks under your belt. You can make short parallel turns and you are comfortable skiing red and black runs. Please note. All credit card payments will include an additional 2% fee
